Good morning
Yesterday we distributed an Enews which identified that City Administration in the 2020 supplemental operating and capital budgets adjustment one of the recommendations to a achieve a zero percent property tax increase is to eliminate funding for the Edmonton Sport Council in 2021. Administration is also recommending other de-investments, including the closure of four community recreation facilities, which do not align with advancing the Live Active strategy.
If you believe in the Edmonton Sport Council’s work, I highly request that you consider expressing your opinion to City Council. Your options for this are identified within the attached file.
