Inclusive Youth Cross Training Program

Inclusive speed development cross-training class for youth is back in 2020! Join an accessible and affordable cross training class for children and youth with and without disabilities.
The community inclusion class will run for a total of 1.5 hours. There will be two 45 minute sessions, the first 45 minute session will be geared towards athletes without a disability. The following 45 minutes will involve the athletes in the first group assisting ambulatory athletes with Autism and related impairments with completing a circuit training program.
When:
Feb 6, 13, 20, 27
Mar 5, 12, 19, 26
Thursdays Nights: 5:00-6:30pm
Where:
Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital
(Limited free street parking available north of hospital on 112th ave. Paid parking available on main lot)
Cost:
$50 for all sessions or $10 per session
New participants may try one session free!
Advance Registration Required
Group rates available for sports teams who would like to attend.
For individuals, please don’t let cost be a barrier – we always have subsidies available to ensure everyone can participate if they want. Please email edmonton@acpsa.ca for more information.
Trainer:
Luke Logan CSEP-CPT – NAIT, Mittology Hand Pad Trainer L2
Luke is a graduate of the NAIT Personal Fitness Trainer Program and a former amateur boxer. Currently he is training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and incorporates martial arts into his own and his client training whenever he can.
