We continue to try and make our soccer program better each year. It is our volunteers that make our program a success. We hope that everyone continues to appreciate them as much as we do.


2023 Outdoor Programs for U4- U19. (2019-2004)

The Regular Season runs from May through to the end of June.

The tentative start date is May 1st (depending on the day of the week the age group play on and weather permitting).

Dates of play are tentative and subject to change. Weather and field availability can mean they play on another day during the week.

 2014/ 2015  U9 Boys/ Girls   2 x per week (Tuesday/Thursday  – 6:15 pm, alternate Sunday early evening)
 2012/ 2013  U11 Boys/ Girls  2 x per week (Monday/ Wednesday/Friday) – 6:15 pm
 2010/ 2011  U13 Boys/ Girls  Sunday & Tuesday (Alternate Reschedule Playing Day Wednesday) North Boundaries
 2008/ 2009  U15 Boys/ Girls  Monday & Thursday (Alternate Reschedule Playing Day Tuesday) North Boundaries

While West Zone/EMSAwest allows you to make special requests on your registration form, remember that it is simply impossible to accommodate all requests. While we will do what we can to grant requests, there are absolutely no guarantees of requests for player placement being met.

Note: If you do not see your community when registering, your child will be placed in the closest hosting community.

How to Register!

STEP 1:

COMMUNITY LEAGUE MEMBERSHIP

  • You will need a 2022-2023 Community Membership to be a valid registration. (You will not get past Step 1 on the online registration)
  • If you purchased one to register for the 2022-2023 Indoor Season, it would still be valid.

OPTIONS TO PURCHASE:

  1. EFCL.org/membership
  2. Your Community Office/ Community Soccer Coordinator.

Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues (EFCL) Memberships expire in August each year. All players registered in the Edmonton Minor Soccer Association (EMSA) are required to have a valid membership. (1 per immediate family)
You must purchase your community league membership from the community in which you live, even if it does not have an active soccer program. This is an EMSA bylaw.

    • If you can not create a new account because you’re already in the system? Try old and/or spouse’s emails.
  2. Add/ Register your player(s) and/ or team officials.

All players trying out must complete the online registration prior to tryouts. To hold a community spot in the west zone for a community team, you must pay community fees. We do transfer community fees to the West Warriors Club.   Do not pay community fees if you are planning to play with another club team.

STEP 3:

PAYMENT                  Please note: The registration is not finalized until payment has been received.

HOW TO PAY:

1. ONLINE – Visa/ MasterCard can be paid on the last step of your registration.  For Outdoor Season last day to pay online is March 12, 2023

2. IN-PERSON – Payment will be collected directly by your community coordinator (click here for the list).

The registration is not complete until payment has been completed.

Late registration: Anyone who has not completed their registration (Payment included) or registered after March 12, 2023, will be charged a late fee. Spots and requests are not guaranteed. You may be placed on the waitlist. Please contact soccer@ewzsa.com to confirm.


Financial Assistance

For the OUTDOOR SEASON, please choose your community as the funding recipient.
