U11 EmsaWEST Coach Info
U11 Community Spring Soccer Program
A U11 match consists of:
- 8 vs. 8 player structure (7 players plus keeper)
- Two 35-minute halves
- min. 137 x 196 Ft Max: 180 x 246 ft
- 6 x 18 ft. nets
- 3 flags
- Center referees
Teams play twice; game days can fall on Saturday/Monday or Wednesday. Evening games will start at 6:15/7:30 pm, and they will play in the afternoon on Saturday. There could be an extra game day to ensure all games are played during the season and practice time (the coach chooses practice times).
Volunteer coaches are supplied with a coaching course, free of charge, for this age group. They will be shown age-appropriate drills and skills, often done through gameplay with the ball.
